Celeste Terrell and Kathryn Herod started Well Done in June of 2009 inside a small apartment in greenway. After a great first year, they opened this location in July of 2010.

Celeste was born in New Orleans and grew up in the south. She studied finance at Auburn University, worked in the field for a few years in Boston, then decided to go to culinary school at the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts. After completing culinary school, she continued her training for several months in the South of France, before moving back to the states to start her own business working as a personal chef and cooking instructor. Celeste relocated to Houston in 2007 to be closer to family, and began working at Perry’s Steakhouse.

Kathryn is a local Houstonian who grew up in Sugar Land. She attended University of Texas at Austin and moved back to Houston in late 2007. While she and Celeste were building the business, Kathryn worked as an adjunct English faculty member at Houston Community College. She attended culinary/pastry school in late 2009 when the business began to take off.

Celeste and Kathryn now work full time in their business and are loving every minute of it! Thank you all so much for your continued support!
